Welcome to my journal, where I celebrate all the seasons of life with my recent work sprinkled with my own personal journey as an artist. I am grateful you are here! It's my hope that as you read these small segments that you are inspired with hope to celebrate the beauty of your own life and story! The best is yet to be...
If thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully: Or if thou thinkest I am too quickly won, I'll frown, and be perverse, and say thee nay, so thou wilt woo: but else, not for the world. In truth, fair Montague, I am too fond; And therefore thou mayst think my 'haviour light: But trust me, gentleman, I'll prove more true than those that have more cunning to be strange.

You guys, I can’t emphasize enough how much I believe in a separate bridal portrait session. What a great way to see what your dress is going to feel like as you move around and have little portrait time. It’s also a great idea to do a trial for hair and makeup. I also love that there’s a great option to have two different looks, one for the bridal portrait and one for the actual wedding day. I have been shooting bridal portraits since 2007 so I am confident, it’s worth the investment. Courtney and I had a great time at her session and her sweet Mom and Nana as well as her cousins were there to help her. We had a great time together, but most of all, I loved that this session was all centered around Courtney. It’s also a fabulous time to choose a location outside of the wedding venue or engagement session location and bring variety to your photo gallery. I absolutely love capturing traditional portraits, but I also love tying in personality and fun. I’m loving these images of sweet Courtney and excited to capture so many of my brides this coming year!!
