Spring is the promise of new beginnings. It’s a season of new life, and new chapters yet to be written. I had the pleasure of photographing two of the dearest humans I’ve ever met last Saturday and my heart could just burst at the joy I feel to share this amazing story!

Callie and James had a perfect celebration, but this was no ordinary wedding.  This day was a major victory for these two and all of their family and friends.  Just to give you guys a little background,  James had a battle with epilepsy for several years and there were many days he, nor his family were sure he would live. During this time, Callie stayed with him in the hospital, was a faithful support, and believed for the best. She was confident in God’s plan and believed that God does miracles. Through much prayer and medical procedure, James was able to have surgery to correct his condition and he has been seizure free ever since!! These two are quick to give gratitude and praise to God for this beautiful miracle! All of their family and friends have been greatly affected by their resolve and passion for life! Being able to do things like driving a car and going on a run without seizures has been a great victory for James…and now these two are enjoying their greatest season & new chapter together yet, marriage!!

And speaking of, this wedding was bubbling over with goodness! I loved their song choice “Faithful to the End” proclaiming how God never leaves us and remains a faithful friend, even through the worst circumstances.  To see these two smiling at each other as Callie came down the aisle was a beautiful moment.  Their tear-filled vows had everyone crying, including me! I cry at every wedding but this time, everyone was crying with me! So much emotion and so much pretty! Sage Valley was the perfect destination location for these two Texans and no detail was overlooked! During our getting ready time, Callie decided to do a first reveal with her Dad and her brothers! I LOVED these intimate moments with their family! Callie and James had 16 bridesmaids and groomsmen + honorary bridesmaids and ushers. This crowd was a fun group and they loved celebrating with the happy couple! Callie designed her own dress and it was perfectly her! The most amazing color palette and spring florals designed by Karin of Cote Designs had everyone swooning! Callie and James danced the night away and I loved their last private dance before the night ended.  There are so many good moments and I’m just over the moon to share these highlights with you all!!
