If thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully: Or if thou thinkest I am too quickly won, I'll frown, and be perverse, and say thee nay, so thou wilt woo: but else, not for the world. In truth, fair Montague, I am too fond; And therefore thou mayst think my 'haviour light: But trust me, gentleman, I'll prove more true than those that have more cunning to be strange.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church: The River Room: Augusta Wedding Photographer: Ali & Charlie

This might be the happiest January I have ever had! I mean, I have so. much. joy. to share with you guys and Ali & Charlie are on top of that list!!! These two had a lovely December wedding with all the home grown vibes.  Both from Augusta,  Ali and Charlie chose to get ready at their family homes here in town!! I LOVE a wedding that starts at home! Capturing our couples in a place that is so dear to both of them brings such personality to their story.  Ali & Charlie had an incredible wedding party and there was so much love and family in the room that I could hardly contain my excitement!! Everyone had a great time and the whole day came with ease and felt like a fairy tale.  Ali, who is just as sweet as she is beautiful, looked absolutely stunning in her Claire Pettibone gown.  The lace detailing alone had everyone swooning! I loved her first look with her Dad and all the jittery energy between her and her bridesmaids.  Ali & Charlie shared their first look, one of my favorites to capture this year as they both were just so excited and their faces were priceless!! We had a great time during portraits and the rain held off so I was so thankful!! Ali & Charlie said their vows in a beautiful ceremony at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where Ali was baptized, which holds a great deal of meaning to her.  After their ceremony, these two danced the night away with all of their favorite people and truly some of the best musicians I have ever heard at a wedding! Since my background is music, this was especially wonderful! The Root Doctors knocked it out of the park!  I am sure the memories captured here will be images that spark joy for decades to come!! I am so very excited to share this gorgeous wedding and also showcase these incredible vendors!!
