Welcome to my journal, where I celebrate people with poetic & artful imagery. I am grateful you are here. It's my honor that as you read these delightful petit fours, that you are inspired and uplifted. The best is yet to be...
When I first met Courtney and TJ, we were on the dance floor at a family member’s wedding! If you know me, I love dancing of all kinds, especially reception parties with a live band! I have been known to sing into my flash and to dance about as I snap the most fun photos of the evening! I can’t help it, music & dancing is in my blood! Courtney & TJ were so playful and watching them dance and laugh together made for some really fun pictures!!
Fast forwarding through a couple of years, these two got engaged and contacted me about being their wedding photographer! I was elated, to say the least! I knew they were so in love and would be so wonderful to work with! Throughout this last year, we have had such a great journey & I have simply adored gaining these two as friends!! We traveled to Jekyll Island to do a styled engagement shoot at Driftwood Beach, and if you haven’t seen it, you should check it out here!
Courtney & TJ planned a perfect classic winter wedding at their home church this past December. I love a wedding at Christmas! All of the twinkle lights and Christmas trees really added that holiday charm. Courtney also really wanted to incorporate some heirloom jewelry pieces from her Nana and I loved that she helped her while getting ready! Courtney’s bridesmaids were joyfully rocking their red dresses and this wedding party kept me laughing. This was a fun group and they had a good time throwing snow at the beloved bride and groom! More than all the fun things and details, I enjoyed documenting a couple so perfect for one another and I’m so thrilled to share their love and their happiness through these favorites!
A special shoutout to my sweet second shooter Caroline Head! You are a gem!!
