Counting my blessings today as I prepare this blog post for two of my favorite friends Summer and Tanner who said ” I do” this past Saturday at Grace Church in downtown Greenville. I have a long history with my sweet friend Summer and I honestly can’t remember when and where we exactly met…it’s like she was always there and always my friend! We have bonded over the years through teaching many a dance camp together and multiple shows and we have kept in touch over the years. When Summer introduced me to Tanner, we immediately hit it off and I just knew these two were going to be so great together!

And here they are, married on the most beautiful autumn day anyone could ask for and I am so thrilled to share with you guys what we captured on their special day! Summer was the most beautiful bride in her Bhldn gown and I couldn’t help but cry when she and her mom were putting her veil on! She and Tanner shared vows during their first look, written on acrylic tiles, that will later be wall art for their new home. They also played the sweetest songs for the first dances, including “Forever Amen” so that Tanner could surprise his mom with a special song to their family…these are the kind of intentional details that make a wedding so worth the planning and so worth celebrating, even in the midst of a pandemic.

Tanner said it best on his latest instagram post, ” I swear, seeing my bride walk down the aisle as the curtains opened and the violins played will be the closest thing to Heaven my eyes will see until I actually get there.”

Marriage is a picture of heaven and that sentiment was felt by all. There was much joy and love shared by everyone who attended and those watching online. They ended the evening with the best dance party and a fire pit…the best kind of evening! I’m delighted to share these highlights and praying many blessings for Mr. & Mrs. Gibson!!!
