It's my hope that as you read these small segments that you are inspired with hope to celebrate the beauty of your own life and story! The best is yet to be...
If thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully: Or if thou thinkest I am too quickly won, I'll frown, and be perverse, and say thee nay, so thou wilt woo: but else, not for the world. In truth, fair Montague, I am too fond; And therefore thou mayst think my 'haviour light: But trust me, gentleman, I'll prove more true than those that have more cunning to be strange.
This is my last wedding of 2018 to share with you guys!! I had such a full year and what an amazing finale with Emily & John! These two…there are no words!!!
I first met Emily back when Paul and I led worship at Marvin United Methodist Church. She was still in high school then, so talented with music and singing. She used to sing with Paul and I and we loved having her play guitar and lead with us!! Fast forward a few years and this girl has not only earned music degrees but has studied music therapy and also just finished her doctorate in music!! When she reached out to me about getting married, I was just so thrilled! Knowing Emily and her kindness, I knew she would only choose the best. I met John earlier this fall and instantly realized why these two are made to be together. They both love so well and value the same things. After meeting with them, I left just feeling so thankful that the Lord orchestrated them being together! And what a beautiful and most precious day!! Emily & John invited their closest friends and family to a traditional service where they shared their vows and said yes to forever. I loved watching John’s face as Emily came down the aisle with her father. Such genuine joy! I loved that we sang “A Mighty Fortress is Our God” and it was so neat to hear everyone raise their voices together! I loved their kiss as they walked out of the church and believe me, following the bride and groom after they have been pronounced is my absolute favorite!!! Afterwards, we had portrait time and found some spots with white walls and this wedding party made the most of it!! They were SO funny and we laughed the whole time! I love a fun group!! At the last light of the day, we were able to do another portrait set at Enterprise Mill. I love it when couples value their portrait time. We were able to accomplish so much in so little time and for that I am so grateful!!! I am so thrilled to share these highlights with you guys!! I have no doubt these two will enjoy marriage and building their life together!!
